Knud Degnbol (Denmark) sent this photo with 1937, 1951, 1953, 1955 and 1959 Ariels Square 4 1000 at the Danish Ariel Club's meeting in august 1999. Knud is the owner of this 1937 Ariel on the foreground.
Before about 1948 engine was manufactured from cast iron, from 1949 onwards light alloy castings were used.
