Long time before 1935 all Indians were painted only in red. Although by Mike Carver information "First Indians were available only in blue and black until about 1905 at which time red was first offered as an option".

Thanks for help to Mike Carver (Washington (state), USA), big admirer of Indian motorcycles and the owner of 1908 Indian. It is the diamond frame model with the high performance magneto ignition single cylinder (big bore) and fully mechanical intake valve. Mike needs following parts: magneto (open type Bosch), Hedstrom or other pre- 1910 carburator, handlebars, compensating clutch or 1911-13 Indian free engine clutch, and linkages or patterns to copy.
