Thanks for help to:
Evgenii Pevzner (Moskva), motorcycle historian,
Mike Carver (Washington (state), USA), big admirer of Indian motorcycles and the owner of 1908 Indian. It is the diamond frame model with the high performance magneto ignition single cylinder (big bore) and fully mechanical intake valve. Mike needs following parts: magneto (open type Bosch), Hedstrom or other pre- 1910 carburator, handlebars, compensating clutch or 1911-13 Indian free engine clutch, and linkages or patterns to copy (20 IX 1999).
Thanks to all authors of books, articles and internet resources, to photographers - contemporary and old, to restorers and collectors!
